Sundry — Support

Sundry tracks how much of each medication you have left, so you know when to reorder before you run out.

Getting in touch

Email joshua.w.lyons@outlook.com and you'll get a reply. Telling us your device model and iOS or Android version helps.

Common questions

How does it know how much I have left? You enter a count once. Sundry works out the rest from your dosing schedule, so there is nothing to log each day.

My count drifted — how do I fix it? Open the medication and tap Update Count. The projection restarts from whatever number you enter.

Does it remind me to take my medication? Only if you ask it to. Each medication has three choices: Off, Gentle (one standard alert), or Persistent (follow-ups until you explicitly respond or stop that dose). A normal swipe does not resolve a Persistent reminder. On iOS 26 and later, Persistent can also use an allowed alarm-style reminder. On Android, Persistent can request exact-alarm and full-screen special access and falls back to high-priority or inexact notifications when those capabilities are unavailable. Check Settings → Reminder delivery health if an alert does not arrive.

Can someone read a medication name from my lock screen? Sundry uses a partially masked name in notification and alarm titles, even when full names are visible inside the app. Response actions require device unlock. For the strongest privacy, restrict notification previews in iOS or Android system settings.

Can Sundry guarantee a reminder? No app can guarantee a notification or alarm. Keep notifications and sounds enabled, and allow the optional alarm capabilities you want. iOS Focus, Android Do Not Disturb, battery restrictions, device shutdown, permissions, and operating-system scheduling can all affect delivery. Sundry should support, not replace, the medication safety plan you make with your doctor or pharmacist.

What happens when I travel? Supply days keep using the geography where you last counted, so crossing a time zone does not invent or remove medication. Separately, each medication can keep the same local clock time or remain tied to its selected home time zone. Sundry explains both clocks when you are away.

Can I use Sundry without an account? Yes. Every medication feature works locally without an account. Secure Backup & Sync is optional. It uses Continue with Apple on iOS and Continue with Google on Android.

Can I use multiple devices? Yes. Secure Backup & Sync is optional in Settings, and medication contents and reminder responses are encrypted on each device before Supabase receives them. Encrypted response events reconcile across devices so answering the same dose through two delivery paths does not apply it twice. A new Apple device may restore the key through iCloud Keychain. Otherwise, an existing signed-in iOS or Android device can scan the new device's one-time QR code, compare a short matching code, and approve with Face ID, biometrics, or the device passcode. You can also use the optional Recovery Kit. Apple and Google identities share one vault only when they belong to the same Supabase account; Apple's Hide My Email can prevent automatic email matching.

Can I keep my own copy? Yes. Settings → Export all Sundry data creates a portable JSON file. It contains full medication names even when the app is masking them, so save it somewhere private.

Do my medications leave my phone? Not unless you choose a cloud feature. Backup & Sync uploads only client-encrypted medication records and reminder-response events, plus the account and opaque record metadata needed to sync them. Camera counting and photo import send the one selected image to Sundry's Netlify service and OpenAI after you agree. See the privacy policy for the exact details.

How do I delete everything? Delete a medication from its detail screen, and use Secure Backup & Sync → Delete cloud account to remove a Google-only or Apple account after fresh provider confirmation. On Android, a linked Apple + Google account shows Delete linked cloud account and opens the supported request route. If you cannot access the app, follow the account-deletion instructions. Deleting Sundry removes the local database. If you exported a file, delete that separately wherever you saved it.

Is Sundry medical advice? No. Sundry is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Counts, projections, reminders, and AI photo suggestions can be wrong or unavailable. Check all details yourself and consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
